The foundation stone for the Designing, Construction, Testing, and Commissioning of a 5.6 MLD Water Treatment Plant in Siolim Constituency was laid at Sonarkhed, Assagao – Siolim by Dr. Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, in the distinguished presence of key dignitaries including Smt. Delilah Lobo(Hon’ble MLA, Siolim Constituency & Vice Chairman, ESG),Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel, IAS(Chief Secretary, Govt of Goa), Shri. Uttam P. Parsekar(Principal Chief Engineer, PWD),Shri. Santosh Mhapne (Chief Engineer, PWD), Shri. Hanumant Naik(Sarpanch, VP Assagao – Siolim), and other esteemed members of the local community.
This significant step marks a milestone in enhancing water infrastructure in the region, reflecting the commitment of the government and local authorities to ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply for the residents of Siolim Constituency. The project is anticipated to positively impact the community and contribute to the overall development of the area, will be completed in 1 year.
