Goa’s Noted writer & Educationist Prof. Dr. Datta Bhikaji Naik (age 74) passed away at Porvorim on Wednesday, after a brief illness. He retired as professor from Dhempe College of Commerce.
He had deep study on Indian culture, religion, science and philosophy as well as politics. He was associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He was the National Vice President of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. Presently he was the founder and guide of Kalyan Ashram, Goa. Recently he was conferred doctorate by the Central University of Andhra Pradesh.
