AAM-SUB HEALTH CENTRE Arpora-NAGOA has been declared National Quality Assurance Standard Certified with an overwhelming score of 96%. The assessment was done by the National Team in January 2025. AAM-SHC Arpora-Nagoa is the first SUB-HEALTH CENTRE under PHC Candolim to be NQAS certified.
The SUB-HEALTH CENTRE ARPORA-NAGOA is the first of its kind in Goa (and may be India) to be designated as Fully Airconditiined, Wifi enabled, interior designed, with an Invertor Back up, fully equipped Sub-Health Centre with 15 Point of Care tests and 106 Essential Medicines, Vaccines and other Health Care infrastructure and equipment as required for being Quality Certified. The premises was put up fully funded under CSR activity by VP Arpora-Nagoa by the Sarpanch Shri Roshan Redkar under the guidance of the Hble MLA Shri Michael Lobo.
The Sub Health Centre was inaugurated on 20th Aug 2024 by The Hble Minister of Health Shri Vishwajit Rane, in the presence of the Hble MLA Calangute Constituency Shri Michael Lobo and Sarpanch of VP Arpora Nagoa, Shri Roshan Redkar and the Director of the Directorate of Health Services, Dr Rupa Naik.
Dr Roshan Nazareth, Health Officer PHC Candolim and a certified National Ayushman NQAS assesor guided Team Arpora (CHO Staff Nurse Manali Nalkar, CHO AYUSH Homeopathy Dr Shiya Candolkar, Dr Karishma Shirodkar, Nodal Officer for AAM-SHC Arpora-Nagoa, Dr Mitali Arabekar, MO JAS Arpora-Nagoa, MPHW Arun Tuyekar and Samreen Shaikh and MPHW Aruna Gawas ,Malaria Staff Vishwambar Bhosale and Krishna Gaonkar and Chandrakant Pednekar and MTS Dikita Murari ) who worked very hard braving all the challenges to put a the State of the art Health Care model for all to emulate.
